One-to-Global is Sumter School District’s one-to-one technology integration initiative. The purpose is to maximize access to technology for classroom learning that will engage students in critical thinking and challenging real world activities.

The Mission of the One-to-Global Technology Initiative is to provide equal access for each student to innovative technology that will prepare students for the future.
Vision
The vision of One-to-Global is to transform traditional classroom instruction into a technology rich learning environment where students use critical thinking skills while actively participating in meaningful student centered activities.
Six Year Ownership Incentive (Middle & High)
As an incentive to encourage good Digital Citizenship, middle and high school students who are issued a Chromebook may keep the device after six years:
- The One-to-Global User agreement is for six years
- Keep the Chromebook in good working condition
Students are strongly encouraged to use the devices for educational purposes only! Inappropriate use will void user access.
Chromebooks and tablets come with support, management and built-in access to Google Apps
and educational content.
