Good afternoon. This is Mrs. Edwards, principal of Chestnut Oaks Middle School.
We are carefully monitoring the impact of COVID-19 in our school. Due to the growing number of cases and low availability of our staff, the sixth and seventh grades will shift to remote learning on Wednesday, January 12. Students will return to school on Monday, January 24.
While on remote learning, students will follow their normal class schedule, and Google links will be posted in Google Classroom. If a child’s Chromebook was left at the school, you may retrieve it from the front office.
Please continue to be safe and practice mitigation strategies such as washing your hands, physical distancing, wearing a mask, staying home if you have symptoms or are in the process of getting tested, and covering your mouth when you cough or sneeze. We thank you for your ongoing support and flexibility as we work to keep our school family safe!
